Pixie Meadow ("we," "us," or "the meadow") runs the shop at pixiemeadow.com. This policy explains what personal information we gather when you visit, sign up, or place an order, and the choices you have. What we collect
We only collect what we need to send you your order, answer your questions, and keep the shop running. That falls into a few buckets:
- When you place an order: your name, shipping address, email address, phone number (if you give one), the items you bought, and your order history. Your payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Square — we never see or store your full card number.
- When you contact us: your name, email, and whatever you write in the message, so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.
- When you join The Meadow Letter (newsletter): your email address, and whether you have opened or clicked our emails, so we can send you fairy lore, new drops, and the occasional discount.
- Automatically, as you browse: your device and browser type, general location (from your IP address), the pages you view, and how you arrived — gathered through cookies and similar technology (see below).
How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Process, pack, and ship your order, and send order confirmations and shipping updates.
- Provide customer support and respond to your messages.
- Send marketing emails you have asked for — and always with an unsubscribe link.
- Prevent fraud, keep checkout secure, and meet our legal and tax obligations.
- Understand which products and pages people love, so we can improve the shop.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never share it for anyone else's advertising.
Cookies & similar technology
Cookies are tiny files your browser stores at our request. We use:
- Essential cookies that keep your shopping cart and session working — the shop can't function without these.
- Preference cookies that remember small choices so the site feels familiar next time.
- Analytics cookies that help us count visits and see which pages are popular, always in aggregate.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may mean the cart and checkout stop working.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the trusted partners who help us run the meadow, and only what they need:
- Square — processes your payment securely. Your card details go straight to Square; see Square's own privacy notice for how they handle them.
- Shipping carriers — receive your name and address so your parcel can find you.
- Email & hosting providers — deliver our emails and keep the website online.
- Legal authorities — only if we are required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of our customers and our shop.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax, and warranty or return questions — typically a few years, as the law requires. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept only as long as they're useful for supporting you.
How we protect it
Our site is served over encrypted SSL connections, payments run through Square's PCI-compliant systems, and we limit access to personal information to the few people who need it to help you. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we treat your data with the same care we put into everything we make by hand.
Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or ask us to stop using it for marketing. You can always:
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link at the bottom of any message.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- Adjust or clear cookies through your browser.

Children's privacy
Pixie Meadow is meant for grown-up gift-givers and gatherers. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their information, please contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we update how we handle your information, we'll revise this page and change the "last updated" date above. For meaningful changes, we'll do our best to let you know.
